The Sea of Galilee can be a very dangerous place. Just as in life, treacherous storms blow in violently and often without warning. Like the first disciples, in times of sudden peril, we may be overtaken with terror and perceive, as threats, the things we cannot explain.
But Jesus is with us in the storm. His Word comforts our fearful hearts and calms our fretful thoughts. He bids us simply to be still and to trust in Him.
